Pamaskong handog sa karangalan ni Sto. Niño

(The title chosen by Sr. Marita Siochi, Provincial Superior, for the activity since the Philippines celebrates the Feast of the Sto. Nino every third Sunday of January)

On January 7, 2006, the kids at Smokey Mountain, Tondo - Manila enjoyed the games, gifts and simple merienda the Sisters and Novices have prepared for their prolonged celebration of Christmas day.

This day became possible because of the generosity of our own Sisters Luigia Cuffolo  and Tarcisia  Magarotto who passed by the Philippines on their to Australia. They gave a donation from Italy to be shared with these our less fortunate brothers and sisters. 

There were more than a hundred kids together with their parents, brothers and sisters who joined the fun.

The parish priest of that place, Fr. Adriano, Canossian Father  and some of their youth also helped us in organizing the day.

Thanks to the generous heart of our sisters for making these poor children feel the Spirit of Christmas this year!
